Meet the President
Born in Sao Paulo, Brazil, Eduardo grew up around the ocean, in a home where all things motorized where a past time. His father was fascinated by cars, boats, airplanes and owned an auto shop department store, the place where Eduardo found his love of all things mechanic. Since a young child Eduardo worked alongside his father on motors, transmissions, and electronics. In 2002, Eduardo moved to the Austin, Texas with his sister to see what the Unites States could offer. Starting at the 5-Star restaurant, Texas de Brazil, Eduardo acquired the knowledge of true customer service, learning the art of satisfying the customer. With each of his successes, he was promoted quickly throughout the company. Working directly with the owners of the popular restaurant, Eduardo became the face of Texas de Brazil. He was the Head of Operations, in charge of logistics and opening new locations all throughout Florida, leading him to sunny Miami Beach.
Love of Boats
While working for Texas de Brazil, Eduardo saw a slight defect in the Brazilian Restaurant, there was no Brazilian beer offered! Cury Group was then started to bring one of the largest brewery beers, Itaipava from Brazil. Cury Group’s accomplishment was the first of its kind, bringing a Brazilian beer to the United States. Cury Group made history! The success of Itaipava Beer was phenomenal. Events were celebrated throughout the United States, Itaipava was featured as one of the main sponsors for the Indy 500 as well as the only Brazilian beer for the World Cup!
Living in Miami Beach, Eduardo was brought back to his childhood as he saw yachts surrounding him. In 2004, he purchased his first yacht, a damaged 36’ Searay he acquired from the Miami Beach Marina, was rebuilt from the floor up. Working closely with the yacht, having all his experience with his father’s business, Eduardo repaired the engines, electronics and interior of the boat. After working on his own yacht, he then knew his new goal was to get into the yachting business, having the advantage of Miami Beach being the capital of the yachting business.
Miami Yacht Access
Eduardo started his Broker career with a Yacht Brokerage company in Miami Beach in 2010. Inspired by the backdrop of his home, he quickly promoted his listings throughout the city. With the help of his cliental from the 5-Star restaurant, word spread quickly of Eduardo’s spark. His knowledge in yacht aesthetic, knowledge of motors, combined with his exquisite customer service, Eduardo sold his first yacht in small time. By 2019, with his many accomplishments, including gaining his Master of Yachts Limited 200 Ton Power Captain License, Eduardo’s list of sold boats is exceptionally extensive! He was confident in his skills and knew it was time to start a new venture. With his wife, Diana alongside him, the two became a force in the yachting industry and started Miami Yacht Access.
